No. There's nothing to sign up for. Everything works the moment you install it.
Into your normal Chrome bookmarks, in a tidy alphabetical folder called "Recipes." That means they sync to mobile Chrome, are searchable from the address bar, and stay with you even if you uninstall Pantry.
Chrome extensions run on desktop Chrome, so Pantry's auto-scroll and notes are a desktop experience. But because recipes save as real bookmarks, the recipes you save sync to Chrome on your phone automatically.
Pantry uses several strategies to find the recipe (jump links, known recipe plugins, structured data, and a fallback), so it works on the large majority of sites. If one slips through, send it our way and we'll add it.
Both are toggles on Pantry's options page. Right-click the Pantry icon and choose "Options," or open it from the popup.
It shouldn't. Pantry only scrolls the page, adds tooltips on ingredient mentions, and mounts its own toolbar and side panel. It doesn't strip ads or rewrite the blog's content — the page loads as the creator built it.
